Indo-European (language family)

Indo-European is a Language Family. Language families are a collection of languages derived from a common ancestor. For example, the following languages belong to the Indo-European language family: Ancient Greek and English. Indo-European is believed to be descended from Proto-Indo-European, which is a proto-language.
